Poke Genie -Remote Raid IV PvP – App on Google Play Store

Here’s what the Poke Genie app in particular — and that “Remote Raid” feature in specific — is, how it works, what to be mindful of, and whether you can (safely) use it along with Pokémon GO.

✅ What Poke Genie is

It’s a companion to PokémonGO, and is useable that way: apkmirror. net+1

Among its features, is a notable one called RemoteRaidCoordinator: “Join Remote Raids with trainers around the world!” pokegenie. net+1

From its Play Store description:

“Simply choose the Raid Boss, and PokeGenie will automatically select other trainers in your area to match up.” It’s that simple!” Google Play

⚙️ The mechanics behind the Remote Raid feature

Here is a more simplified step‑by‑step of how users report it working:

Open PokeGenie and head to the Remote Raid menu.

  • Select the Raid Boss you would like to have, either by hosting or joining someone else’s raid. (Hosting: put together the raid, invite people; joining: scour hosts listing) Reddit+1
  • In PokémonGO, for the to join a raid from elsewhere you use a remoteRaidPass (official in‑game resource). Niantic Help Center
  • Invite to/gym/raid lobby pull when the host post the code or invite. The players join from all over the world.
  • Raid combat mechanics work as they do normally (with some limitations on remote participants) and rewards are earned the same way.

Important things to watch / limitations

Using Remote Raid Passes: Game Support You can do up to 10 remote raids for each of the day which means maximum n=20 using phone location backdoors. Niantic Help Center

Remote raids attackers might have less attack power than in person mighnt(through official remote raid notes). Niantic Help Center

You’re relying on being matched/hosted), delays and lobbies timing out, or even just not making it into a match at all happen. For example: users express their vexation about hosting in forums.

I post raid… trainers file in if they don’t report “ready” before their time is up, replaced…Gamepress event decoded by GO Hub Forum

And while PokeGenie says it is “compliant with Niantic’s terms of service” (it maintains that it offers just screenshot/screen‑reading, no spoofing) Google Play+1 — you should still check PokémonGO´s official site and understand the risks.

🎮 My review: Should you use it?

If you play Pokémon GO and:

If you can’t get raid groups locally, or if you want to remote-raid rare/regional Pokémon, then yes: PokeGenie’s Remote Raid functionality is the one for you.

But don’t expect miracles — you still have to host, join, there may be a delay or your interest might not mesh up; and the in‑game remote raid mechanic (reduced attack power, daily limits) still holds.
